G’ Day Marketer,
Here are two emails I received from yesterday’s post.

Hi Paul,
Your report did a great job of reminding me of an ebook I’d read several years ago called adpull. This ebook was abt writing ad copy that pulls and the author had several sections that dealt strictly with the human mind. The 2 phrases I remember most were that we must get past a persons first line of defense before we have a chance at having our message heard and that defense is ‘Should I fight or flee?’. Once the fight or flee question has been answered to the brain’s satisfaction, the person tunes into radio station WIIFM to hear the message. (WIIFM = What’s In It For Me)
That old ad copy ebook and you both pointed out in different ways that people only listen to the one radio station in their heads and that is WIIFM at all times.
You are one of the few marketers writing newsletters I even open any more unless a freebie is announced in the subject because you present something useful. I am disappointed at the self promotions, cross promotions and inbreeding that’s taking place in the internet marketing niche but not surprised because there are too many followers and too few independent thinkers that are willing to actually take a risk and work on their own.
Have a great day.
Best Regards,
Jerry McCoy

Hello Paul.
Yes, I like the mail, but what I liked most was the report/ebook. That was quality reading!
I did really see something there i liked. And I agree. This is he way I will meet my subscribers. Yes, the money is in the list, but not for any price. There is something I like when I get a mail that I feel its a bit personal, and when that someone is not trying to sell me something I begin wondering where to go and what to do. Now I understand that this is the same way we use when we are trying to sell in real life. Make them feel well. make them like you. Make them want your mail or your meetings. Then you mention something. A link or some free stuff, and then you are on.
Thank you for your kind mail and for a good report,
