If you are selling anything online… then there is something which you must add to your sales page/web sites will increase your credibility and your conversion rates 10 fold.
It’s the ‘proof’ element and basically that means that if you are promising something, a solution or a benefit, then you must PROVE that you can do what you say that you can do.
Proof is very simple to apply…
- If you are promoting a lose weight membership then before and after pictures are perfect.
- If you are promising a certain amount of money in a certain amount of days then you need to show screen shots of income proof.
- If you are promising 50 hot dates within 30 days then we want to see PICTURES (and good ones
).
Get my drift?
This is what separates the men from the boys. Boys make promises they can’t keep and men prove and then some.
So What Is The Best Type Of Proof?
Video evidence is my favorite. Where you login and show people your results (if that can be shown on screen)… Otherwise a real video interviewing real people who had real problems that you sold. Why do you think those ‘catch your lover cheating shows’ always use video… because it is harder to lie with real video.
Screen shots of income… and testimonials with pictures and real addresses and phone numbers also works very well. For some reason just audio doesn’t work for me and to be honest I would do like the News shows do, when they interview people over the phone they put a head shot of the speaker (more engaging, more credible).
So be a credible source and provide solid proof.
