Internet marketing is so easy. Especially niche marketing. It is so much easier to market in a less competitive niche then the internet marketing niche.

Here is an example.  BTW did I mention previously that I know very little about SEO? Well I know a lot more than I did 3 weeks ago ;).

For my new website http://www.MyMindShift.com I have been spending quite a bit of time to get more traffic. Affiliate marketing, SEO, Social Marketing and the like and I have been rewarded by my efforts with multiple sales just about every day. Over 170+ sales in 3 weeks.

I have been doing a bit of keyword research and I noticed quit a few searches for ‘free binaural beats’ and the like… So I got my sound engineer to create for me 2 audios that I could give away free. And I created a specific blog post with an optin form which you can see at… http://mymindshift.com/blog/free-binaural-beats-mp3-download/3/

That post ranks on page 2 of Google for most free + binaural beats keywords and to date I have 59 optins, which constantly grows everyday (got 16 today).

So even on page 2 I am still getting traffic and it’s just giving them what they want.

And this is a great way to get free traffic that you wouldn’t pay for… for example I have -free in all my Adwords ads.

And you can do it for everything… free articles, free plr etc.

It’s simply finding out what they market wants and giving it to them.

It is good to have students because not only do they stretch you and help you to grow and expand yourself, they also tell you/remind you of things you have heard but have forgotten. It’s the whole two heads are better than one thing.

Anyway one of my students told me of a technique he learnt from a book that I had read over a year ago. And basically it goes like this…

“If you can’t sell something give it away…”

Now incase you are thinking that I am talking about, giving something away for free and build a customers list. I’m not (fooled ya ). Here is the tactic… If you can’t sell something then, grab another related AFFILIATE product and give your product away as a bonus if they purchase through your affiliate link. Genius huh?

Why does this work so good?

1. The purchaser is getting 2 great products for the price of one, thus increasing your conversions.

2. It instantly stops affiliate link hijacking. Because if they want your bonus they must purchase through your link (that’s a big one).

3. It gives you a lot of leverage when you run and adwords campaign promoting that affiliate product because…
3a. You can promote using the product name keywords (which is proven to convert higher and have extremely targeted traffic),
3b. You can promote using a landing/bonus page which means that you get around the adword ‘only one ad per product’ restriction.
3c. You are more competitive then your other adwords competition.

4. You are building a customer list because when you get them to reply you can send them to a customer only autoresponder page for automatic bonus delivery.

So from now on if you have a great product but you just can’t sell it… then give it away.
