"Just Give Them What They Want…"

On the subject of Increase Web Site Traffic, Search Engine Optimization, What I have Learnt, marketing tips

Internet marketing is so easy. Especially niche marketing. It is so much easier to market in a less competitive niche then the internet marketing niche.

Here is an example.  BTW did I mention previously that I know very little about SEO? Well I know a lot more than I did 3 weeks ago ;).

For my new website http://www.MyMindShift.com I have been spending quite a bit of time to get more traffic. Affiliate marketing, SEO, Social Marketing and the like and I have been rewarded by my efforts with multiple sales just about every day. Over 170+ sales in 3 weeks.

I have been doing a bit of keyword research and I noticed quit a few searches for ‘free binaural beats’ and the like… So I got my sound engineer to create for me 2 audios that I could give away free. And I created a specific blog post with an optin form which you can see at… http://mymindshift.com/blog/free-binaural-beats-mp3-download/3/

That post ranks on page 2 of Google for most free + binaural beats keywords and to date I have 59 optins, which constantly grows everyday (got 16 today).

So even on page 2 I am still getting traffic and it’s just giving them what they want.

And this is a great way to get free traffic that you wouldn’t pay for… for example I have -free in all my Adwords ads.

And you can do it for everything… free articles, free plr etc.

It’s simply finding out what they market wants and giving it to them.

All the best,

Sincerely,

"Digg for Digg & Stumble It! <- Little Experiment"

On the subject of Increase Web Site Traffic, Internet Marketing Business

G’ Day,

I’m still learning about Social Marketing, I have heard a lot about these Web 2.0 techniques but it’s only since I launched http://www.MyMindShift.com that I really want to experiment with every traffic source out there.

Therefore I’m doing a little experiment.

If you digg me I will digg you. If you haven’t heard Digg.com is one of the most popular social bookmarking sites and is a great way to build backlinks and get traffic.

All you have to do is go to the following digg/story/post, login and digg it (you may need to register as a new user if you haven’t already).

http://digg.com/educational/Binaural_Beats_Information_Blog/

Once you have done that go to http://www.mymindshift.com/blog and hit I Like It on your StumbleUpon toolbar (please install it if you haven’t got one).

Then simply make a comment on this post with your digg and stumble site and I will do the same thing for you.

Please Note:- Blogs or articles are good… no salespages please.

Simple right?

You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.

All the best for your online success.

Sincerely,

"Always Use Tags…"

On the subject of Increase Web Site Traffic, Internet Marketing Business

I have been working with Dave Wooding of Linktator2 and we have been doing some experiments on improving search engine optimization to get our sites on the first page of Google.

We have been looking at the first page results for some specific keywords and one thing we have discovered is the necessity of using tags. For one particular keyword 2 out of the first page results were based solely on the webmasters use of tags.

So here is a little hint for you that will improve your search engine rankings right now… if you are using a blog or a social bookmarking service always use as many related tags as possible.

Hope that helps,

Sincerely,

"3 Forum Marketing Mistakes…"

On the subject of Increase Web Site Traffic

If you want to get instant traffic and instant recognition in your niches then you need to be involved in the most popular forums.

But as one of my students learnt you can’t just jump in and start posting articles in the forums (even good ones) to advertise your website. Marketers will get their a## flamed off if they make the wrong move in a public forum and this may ruin their reputation in that niche forever.

Here are 3 mistakes that you can make while marketing on niche forums.

1) No Introduction… No Warm Up…

Never go into a public forum and post anything to do with advertising for at least 20 posts. That means don’t use a signature (unless it’s just your name). Start off by just replying to posts… unless it is an introduction post, people need to know who you are first, and they need to which leads me to mistake number 2.

2) No Information… Crap Posts…

If you don’t have anything positive and useful to add to a forum post/topic then don’t post at all. If you want to be recognized as an expert then you have to post useful and practical INFORMATION. Pushing your product on people is spam. Give away some secrets and some practical advice and let your signature link tell the whole story.

3) Pretending To Be Somebody You Are Not…

Everything you do online needs to be totally transparent. You need to be a real person… with real proof that you are who you say you are… and that your product/information works. Telling lies, hiding behind a pen name, running away or arguing with somebody who challenges you will never make you any friends on a public forum.

Don’t make these mistakes and you will get more traffic and a better reputation from niche forums.

Here’s to your online success.

"Write Articles Quicker Than Ever Before"

On the subject of Increase Web Site Traffic

I used to think that it was very hard to write articles and everytime I tried it always took me more than an hour to write just one but I’ve just discovered a very easy method to write a number of articles in a very short amount of time. I’m talking about writing 1 article every 10 minutes.

You don’t have to be a super writer… all you need is some focus, these simple tips and some practice.

Here are 3 ways to write articles quicker than ever before.

1. Write Your Title First

For the last 1 and half hours I have been writing over 8 articles without stopping. All I did was write a list of topics I knew I could write about and then I started sat down somewhere quiet and started writing as quick as I could, banging out one article after another.

Each article I completed, the better I felt and the quicker I wrote the next article.

But by writing the title first I gave myself a solid foundation on exactly what the article was about… For example, 3 Ways To Get More Traffic To Your Web Site. A title like this and you know exactly what you are going to write about and you can pump it out very quickly.

2. Structuring your articles is simple.

Every article just needs and introduction, some body text or the main meat of your article and a conclusion. Once you have this structure it is very simple to write an article very quickly. All you need to do is write a paragraph to introduce the article in the introduction, 3 main paragraphs for the body of the article and a paragraph to conclude the article. Once again you are breaking down your writing to specific steps where you can focus and complete one section at a time.

3. Numbered Bullet Points.

I am a big fan of writing, 3 ways this… 7 ways that… because it gives me clear direction where I want my articles to go. All you do is type in your main points first and then add a few more sentances of content to each point. This is a great way of adding the body content to your article.

If you want to write more articles and drive more traffic to your website then I highly recommend that you use the above method for writing more articles quicker.

To find out more about how to write and profit from article writing I highly recommend Espired Membership to learn from somebody who has been ‘living the dream’.
