Whoooo doogie I’m excited, I mean G’ Day Marketers ;-),
My launch for Automatic Niche Profits is in less than 12 hours and by the amount of traffic I am already gotten and the amount of partners I have I know that it is going to be a HUGE launch.

If you haven’t heard of Automatic Niche Profits then check it out now so you will be informed bang on launch. This is the most prepared I have been on launch day, that I can actually spare the time to write this… which is cool.
Ok… now in regards to the subject of this post.

If you haven’t heard I am focusing my business efforts and I’m selling the businesses I own that do not fit into the three niches that I want to focus in. So far it is going really well even though it is quite painful to part with some of them, but a necessary evil I beleive.

Anyway like my two previous business that I was selling I put it up as a WSO (the first one sold twice in 1 hour, the second one took less than 48 hours) but after 1 week there was a lot of interest but nobody put their money where their mouth is. So I used my greatest business asset I own (other than Corena ;-) ), my list.

I sent out one email to my list of 5000 and it sold 3 times in just 2 hours. Yeah even I was impressed by that one ;-). The worst part is that I didn’t use an order link… I said Paypal me the deposit (and I didn’t even put the address) so I had lots of people emailing me if it is sold yet, which could have easily have been solved with an order page (another lesson learnt).

So what did I learn from selling this website? Not too much new…
1) It reconfirmed that my list is my most valuable business asset.

2) People are looking for a business in a box solution, they still think it is more advantageous to buy a ready made business than to create one.

3) Don’t be lazy and use an order link ;-).

"New Business In 24 Hours? You Can Do It Too…."

G’ Day Marketers,

I am in my backyard with my feet in the sun at the moment because it is a little cool in Australia at the moment (but I did hear that in Canada that is snowing, so the weather, in comparison, is toasty here ;-) ). Which reminds of a conversation I had with my copywriter, no point in being the richest person in the graveyard. Take things easy, you think clearer and work better in my humble opinion.

Anyway I wanted to tell you about a new project I thought of and completed in less than 24 hours. I’ve been getting ‘into’ Clickbank a lot lately and I am always curious of how many sales I made but it was a waste of time to constantly login. I have a plugin on my firefox browser (best browser in the world) to constantly update me of my Adsense earnings and I wanted to create a similar plugin that would tell me how much I made today. I resisted doing it because I do this all the time, get distracted go and create something, ignore it.

But then I caved in and asked my coder to create it for me. He was completed by the time I woke up. I asked Corena to create me a little icon and banner for it, and then I prepared the page for it.

Because it would have been very difficult to sell a little plugin like this, and if I did somebody would just copy it and give it away for free. So I decided to give it away for free and allow the opportunity to join a list to discover how to make more money with Clickbank as an affiliate (good connection right?). This way I could not only build a list, one of your most valuable assets, but with affiliate recommendations and Adsense I can easily pay for this plugin in no time. (A small plane just flew overhead and it made me think of when I stayed in Heathrow in London, right next to the airport in the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, ahh it’s good to be home ;-) ).

So once again, in less than 24 hours I created a very valuable and potentially viral income stream.

Can you do the same? Of course you can, all you need is the idea.

I saw a need, I filled that need, I will profit from that need.

I have decided to do some focusing in my business so I am making some tough decisions and selling some of my websites.

Yesterday, I sold one of them that had a lot of potential, but I just didn’t have time to market.

I sold everything, the domain, website and complete rights to the script (http://www.ArticleTranslator.com) but I made a mistake…

Lesson 1. Never Price A Business Too Low.

I put a price of $600 on the site and knew it was too low but didn’t realize how low it was. When I advertised, in less than an hour it sold twice (to 2 different people, I refunded the 2nd purchaser) and started kicking myself. I knew I could have got double for that site for no extra work. I had priced myself too low.

Lesson 2. Don’t beat yourself up about poor decisions.

From then until now I have been thinking about how much I could have sold it for and how much I missed out on. Big mistake… talk about lack thinking. So I said to myself this is ridiculous, there is nothing I can do about it now, let me just learn from it and move on… and that is why I am writing this article.

Lesson 3. It is a good business model but it is not for me.

I now realize that there are a lot of people looking to buy complete businesses, and you can easily make $4000 a month just buy selling one or two.

Here is the process in a nutshell.

1)      You come up with an idea.
2)      You get a coder or writer to create your idea.
3)      You write the sales page.
4)      You advertise the business for sale and get at least 100% or 200% ROI (return on investment) Not bad for a couple of hours work.

But here is another tip to get an even greater ROI…

5)      Before you sell the business… you sell the product… you create Adwords campaigns, Joint ventures and you sell a significant number of the products until you get a regular income from it. Then you can sell the business for up to 8 times the annual income.

Let’s do a few numbers shall we. You have a $47.00 product and you just sell 3 a week (easily achievable) that is $7332.00/year ($47 x 3 x 52 weeks). By selling your business at this point you could potentially get over $60,000 now that is a nice chunk of change for very little work to create and a little more work to market it.

But I realized this business plan is not for me (well yes and no). Yes it is, because I found out at the underground seminar that I attended in London that one of the presenters sold his website for 5 million US dollars and he was just about to do another deal for 4 million US dollars (obviously his sites were making more then 3 sales/week ;-) ). And No because you constantly have to build websites and find new buyers… although at $5,000,000 a pop you wouldn’t have to work very hard ;-). But my main goal is “I Earn $1,000,000/month by 31/05/2009” so I am looking for a recurring income that I can scale and build on auto-pilot.

But if you are looking for a way to make good money for very little work then this is a business model you can definitely use.

So will I sell another one of my businesses? Yes I will. Will I learn from mistakes. Definitely.

But you can learn from mine right now.

"Shocking Fact - You Cannot Increase Your Customers!"

Yesterday I was listening to “Secrets of A Self Made Millionaire” by Adam Khoo and I was shocked to hear that you cannot increase your customers. Yep… Adam explains that when businesses come to him and tell him that they want to increase their customers he says it’s impossible. And then he explains why.

Customers come as the result of the following equation… Leads x Conversion rate = Customers. So you can never increase customers because they are not a variable they are a result. To increase customers you must increase either your leads or conversion rate or both.

Here is an example… 2000 leads x 1% conversion rate = 20 customers… but if you increase your conversion rate by another 1% your customers double (2000 x 2% = 40 customers)… and here is another little secret… it is much easier to increase your conversion rate then your leads… so this is what I recommend most.

Let me share with you 5 ways to increase your conversion instantly..

1. Your Headline - a powerful headline has the greatest influence on your webcopy then most people can even imagine. Share you main benefit with your visitors plus shocking headlines have the best effect.

2. Focus on Copy Not Graphics -  it’s a proven fact that it is copy that sells not pretty graphics. Always share exactly what your product/service does and sell the benefits every step of the way.

3. Always Add Bullets - One way to quickly add lot of benefits to your copy is via bullet points… they give information in bite size chunks and that is perfect for the average web surfers attention span.

4. Remove All Distractions -  don’t put any google ads or links or flashing banners on your sales page… they are there for only one reason to buy.

5. Ask for Action - One of my favorite sayings is “If you don’t ask you don’t get.” Even in your sales page you must have a clear call of action and ask for the sale.

So there you have it if you apply these 5 simple techniques… your conversion is guaranteed to increase.
